I myself am an avid drummer, but I have traded in my ear-piercing acoustic set for a quiet electric set because of the move. I fear that the neighbors still may hear the tapping noise, but it's only about as loud as someone tapping their fingers on a desk. That being said, I don't plan on playing past 9pm or so. I wonder how well we will be able to hear others TVs and stereos inside of our unit. I guess we will have to wait and see. Any tips for sound-proofing the door? I've noticed a lot of units have these little rolls at the bottom of their doors on the outside. I'm not sure if that is to keep out sound, or keep heat in, or both.
